We are very proud of our purpose-built 32ft canal day boat NESSIE. We are committed to offering unparalleled levels of service to you.
A comprehensive ‘handover and tuition’ is conducted upon your arrival by experienced boaters and canal enthusiasts.

What better way of spending quality time with family and friends cruising our beautiful canals for the day. Maybe call in at the canal side pubs along the way for lunch and a drink or bring your own picnic.
Nessie has full galley facilities – gas hob, larder fridge, kettle, mugs, plates, glasses, bowls, frying pan, saucepan, and chopping board. Kitchen roll, tea/hand towels, cleaning cloth, foam scourer, washing up liquid, liquid soap and bowl. Flush toilet, indoor and outdoor seating.
Booking by Telephone or Email
The full hire fee is payable within 48 hours of booking to secure the date of hire.
If the payment is not received within 48 hours, then the date is released for hire.
Insurance:
An insurance bond is payable on the day of hire. This is refundable on the safe return of the boat undamaged and with no losses to equipment. Any losses or damage will be deducted from the £100.
A charge will be made of £25 per 15 minutes for the late return of the vessel.
Availability:
Nessie is available to hire 7 days per week.
Season starts Easter 2024 to 30th September..

- Prices - Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays = £200
- Prices - Weekdays = £180
- Insurance - £100 refundable on the safe return of the boat undamaged and with no loss of equipment.
- Min 2 Adults, Max 8 persons & seating for all 8.
- Available 7 days per week.

- Prices including Fuel and VAT per day.
- Handover 8:30am Departure 9am, Return by 5pm

Whilst we welcome visits by guests with additional needs, we DO NOT have specifically adapted boats for a person who uses a wheelchair or has reduced mobility.
Therefore, it is with regret that we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users.
